Agreement Formation

• These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and QuiZA.in
• By clicking "Sign Up" or accessing any part of the platform, you signify your acceptance
• If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use immediately
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice
• Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and QuiZA regarding your use of the platform.

Age Requirement

• QuiZA is designed for students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy Final examination
• Users must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• By registering, you confirm you meet the age requirements
• Users under 18 must have their legal guardian accept these Terms on their behalf

Professional Status

QuiZA is specifically designed for:

• Students enrolled in or preparing for CA Final examinations
• CA professionals seeking to maintain knowledge
• Educational institutions and coaching centers (with appropriate licensing)

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
• Username must be unique and appropriate (no offensive language)
• Email address must be valid and accessible (used for verification)
• Password must meet minimum security requirements

Account Security

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Use strong, unique passwords to protect your account

Account Verification

You must verify your email address to activate certain features. Failure to verify within 7 days may result in account suspension.

Supplementary Learning

• QuiZA is a supplementary learning tool for CA Final preparation
• Our 15,000+ MCQs are curated from ICAI material and past patterns
• We do not guarantee success in official ICAI examinations
• Results in official exams depend on multiple factors beyond our control
• Users should use QuiZA as one component of a comprehensive study plan

Accuracy Disclaimer

• We strive for accuracy in all MCQs and explanations
• Content is regularly reviewed and updated
• However, errors may occasionally occur
• We welcome corrections submitted through forums
• Users should cross-reference with official ICAI material

Updates to ICAI Syllabus

ICAI may update syllabi and exam patterns. We make reasonable efforts to update our content but cannot guarantee real-time alignment. Always verify current ICAI requirements.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities:

• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access other users' accounts or restricted areas
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse-engineering the platform
• Data Scraping: Using automated tools to download or extract content
• Account Sharing: Sharing your account credentials with others
• Cheating: Using unauthorized aids or collaborating during mock tests
• Spamming: Posting repetitive or promotional content in forums
• Telegram Bot Abuse: Harassing the bot, sending spam commands, or attempting to exploit the Telegram integration

Forum Code of Conduct

When participating in Discussion Forums:

• Be respectful and constructive in all interactions
• Do not post copyrighted material without permission
• Do not share confidential or proprietary information
• Do not use offensive, harassing, or discriminatory language
• Do not impersonate other users or ICAI officials
• Do not post personal information about yourself or others

Content Standards

All content you post must:

• Be relevant to CA Final preparation
• Comply with ICAI Code of Ethics
• Not violate any laws or regulations
• Not contain malware or malicious links
• Not promote commercial services or competitors

Telegram Bot Usage

When using the QuiZA Telegram bot:

• You must comply with Telegram's Terms of Service
• Bot responses are automated and may have rate limits
• Do not spam the bot or use it for unauthorized purposes
• Quiz attempts via Telegram count toward your overall progress
• Telegram notifications can be configured in your profile settings

Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription options:

Attempt-Based Licensing

Subscriptions are valid for specific ICAI attempts:

• Purchases are labeled by attempt (e.g., "May 2026", "September 2026")
• Access expires after the specified attempt date
• No automatic renewal
• Users must manually purchase for subsequent attempts
• Expiration clearly stated at time of purchase

Payment Processing

• All payments processed through Razorpay, a secure payment gateway
• We do not store payment card details
• Prices listed in Indian Rupees (₹)
• All fees include applicable taxes
• Receipts provided via email after successful payment

Refunds & Cancellations

Failed Payments

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or bank issues:

• Access will not be granted until payment is successful
• Retry payment within 24 hours to avoid losing the transaction
• Contact support for persistent payment issues
• No penalty fees for failed payments

Content You Create

By posting content on the platform (forum posts, replies, etc.), you grant QuiZA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and display your content for platform improvement.

QuiZA Content Ownership

All MCQs, explanations, platform code, logos, and trademarks are the exclusive property of QuiZA.in. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Trademarks

QuiZA™, the QuiZA logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names are trademarks of QuiZA.in. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

User Data Export

You may export your personal data (attempt history, analytics, bookmarks) at any time through your profile settings. Bulk copying of the platform's MCQ database is prohibited.

Mock Test Sharing

Mock tests can be shared via unique codes. When you create and share a mock test:

• You are responsible for the content of your created tests
• Share codes are non-transferable and unique to each test
• Participants' results may be visible on the test leaderboard
• We reserve the right to remove tests that violate our Acceptable Use Policy
• Test creators cannot see participants' answers until after submission

No Guarantee of Results

• QuiZA provides educational resources but does not guarantee success in ICAI exams
• Your success depends on your individual effort, preparation, and other factors
• We are not responsible for exam results or career outcomes
• All content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

Platform Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data loss due to technical issues
• Slow performance during peak usage
• Third-party service failures (payment gateways, email providers)

Financial Limitations

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for your current subscription period. In no event shall our total liability exceed ₹5,000.

Excluded Damages

We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
• Emotional distress or reputational harm
• Costs of obtaining substitute services

When We May Terminate

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or Acceptable Use Policy
• Suspected fraudulent activity or unauthorized access
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended period of inactivity (12+ months)
• Legal compliance requirements or government requests

When You Can Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Using the account deletion feature in your profile settings
• Contacting our support team at support@quiza.in
• Sending a written request via email (allow 3-5 business days processing)

Consequences of Termination

• Loss of access to all platform features and content
• Permanent deletion of your account and personal data (within 30 days)
• Forfeiture of any active subscription benefits
• No refunds for remaining subscription periods
• Anonymization of your forum contributions

Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India.

Dispute Resolution Process

International Users

If you are accessing QuiZA from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. International users accept that data may be processed in India subject to Indian law.

Statute of Limitations

Any claim or cause of action arising from these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim accrued, or it will be permanently barred.

Modifications to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Changes posted on the platform are effective immediately
• We may notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications

Feature Changes

We continuously improve the platform and may add, modify, or remove features. Free features may become paid, and paid features may be discontinued with pro-rata refunds where applicable.

Price Changes

Subscription prices may change with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will maintain their pricing for the current attempt period.
